About Us

Microscope Optical Services Ltd was born in April 2002. Led by founder and CEO Jane Fletcher-Smith, the business initially specialised in servicing and repairs; however, it wasn’t long before we became an approved dealer for Meiji Techno — and since then, it’s fair to say our sales division has grown considerably.

Our Journey

With Jane working closely with General Manager Leah Fletcher, Microscope Optical Services has gone from strength to strength, and we’re continuing to expand our client base. Jane and Leah manage the day to day running of the business, whilst our project manager Ryan Fletcher combines technical duties with quality control checks, demonstrating a range of microscopes, cameras and accessories, continuously improving the quality of our systems and services. We also have a growing team of experienced service technician Jay Nightingale covering all aspects of quality repairs, maintenance and servicing. Darren Courtenay is our Asset/Fleet Manager.

In 2018 we moved to our new premises based in Offchurch, on a rural farm. In 2019, our name was updated from Mazurek Optical Services Ltd to Microscope Optical Services Ltd (MOS).
